At the time of our regular check-ups, the dentist tries to eradicate the plaque as well as the tartar that is present at the above and below portion of the boundary of the gums attached to the teeth. This must be carried out on regular basis. Also, people must avoid smoking, consumption of tobacco, limit the intake of sweet meals and incorporate ample amount of water to remain hydrated all the time. Acidic beverages must not be considered and they contribute for the occurrence of gum disease.
